The food was brought to the counter looking EMPTY and COLD. I also had to explain to the manager that guacamole doesn't come on street tacos. When I ask the manager why the tacos were so empty he stated, we have been giving away to much food so we now give less. I ask the manager again to weigh the street tacos because I know they do not weigh accurate and he again declined. We ask for a refund onto my card and the manager then told me he did the refund to my card but when I ask for the receipt so I had proff of the refund the manager told me I didn't need one. That's a lie. He had to call someone else on the phone before finally giving me a cash refund due to the fact he NEVER did the refund at all first go around. We will NEVER RETURN TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!
The service was super duper slow for a fast food or sit down restaurant. We waited for 30 plus minutes and they still did not get the order correct. We will not be returning.
The people who worked here were great. I was not familiar with Taco John's before, and was not overly impressed with my meal. The donut desserts were super good, but my taco salad was not to my taste. Honestly, your experience will probably be more positive if you like the food - it's VERY rich and creamy.
Waited in the drive thru for about 30 minutes with only ome car ahead of me. When I got to the window, a guy (not in a Taco Johns uniform) asked me what I ordered. So I told him. Five minutes later, a lady comes to the window and again asks what I ordered. So I told her. Again. Didn't get straws or nacho cheese and the potato olays were cold and soggy.
This was the best tacos next to home tacos I have ever had , wish there was one in PHX. Arizona...
