After the husker game we went to the restaurant. Waited a half an hour for a table for 6 to open. Then sat and waited for 15 more minutes as the restaurant was by then only half full. Placed order. That took nearly half hour. Waitress was slow and brought out part of the orders then more later. Food was good. Fries lukewarm. I won't eat there again. We ate at the Kitchen restaurant the night before. That service was awesome. Should have gone there again.
Had food delivered, and it was odd. Aesthetically the food was good, but the flavor lacking, and the medium-rare steak was cooked to rare at most, no Browning what's so ever. The reason we ordered was to prevent cooking, but I had to fire up the stove, cook the prime rib to medium-rare, and make my own scampi sauce for the rubber, sorry... I meant the shrimp.
I have been eating at Chances R For 47 Years and I have had several events both business and person catered by them and have never had a bad meal.
We ate here at about 4:30 on Sunday. The food was very tasty but luke warm. They were under staffed and host and hostesses stood around instead of helping. We never did get our rolls. We made a special point of eating here as I use to live here. Very dissapoined! Owners should pay more attention! I come from a restaurant family!
Food and service is always good there, they were very accommodating even when we added an additional 7 people to the party last minute.
