*no hot tub even tho the description says they do.
No sausage which was a major bummer but I could make this work with some white toast, salsa, pepper and the omelette.
IT Didn’t look like ANYTHING because It didn’t fricken exist!!!! What?!? How you gonna boast that on the add in the middle of heckin winter as an interstate hotel and be Lyin like that. SMH
If I can’t find an express deal that has these two things in the description or reviews I’ll keep driving or just buy the hotel regularly.
In York the 1 Star and 2 star both boasted a pool and free breakfast.
*breakfast small and cold even tho says it’s hot.
Got this hotel on a Priceline Express deal. They pick the hotel for you so you can save a few bucks. It’s hit or miss but you can usually filter the amenities of the hotel and in this case I was able to determine that the only 2 star hotel in York with a pool, free hot breakfast, free WiFi and allowed pets was the Days Inn.
*coffee in lobby is the best
They had my favorite machine coffee so there was a sliver of bronze in that lining but that’s it.
The express deal boasted these 4 amenities and only these and only that hotel had those 4 so it was the only hotel it could have been. I was pretty stoked cuz I only like paying $60 plus if the hotel has *hot breakfast and a *hot tub.
I was hesitant but confident the 2 star had all the same things and was supposed to be better all around. I mean no reviews said the breakfast was bad, but nobody said it was good either.
I came inside, it was nice but you could tell it was remodeled a few times. I ran to use the bathroom as she was checking in and it was next to the pool, I peered inside to see how that steamy tub was lookin.
Fairly new cosmetic remodel of a dated hotel. Clean rooms and convenient access to the interstate. Very small continental breakfast room with 4 or 5 two-top tables. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.
The reviews didn’t mention a hot tub specifically but the hotel description clearly said they had one. So I bucked up and took the “better” deal.
Went to bed and the bed was pretty comfy. Some ppl in a room near mine had a crying baby and someone else kept coming in and out and slamming the hell out of their door. Didn’t sleep well.
Never stopping in york again.
It was the Days inn! Man I was stoked I even texted my girlfriend that after driving all Day In -4 degree weather I get to sit in a nice hot tub, sleep in a clean bed, wake up to a hot breakfast and hit the road.
The Priceline thing is my fault but they gotta pump up that breakfast if they are going to call it hot. And take that hot tub off any description because it is a straight up lie.
*bed was ok
Good service, very polite. She gave us directions to a place to eat. Everything worked well, and exactly what you would expect from a cheap motel. Good tv, comfy bed, shower worked well
Innkeeper provided excellent customer service as I changed my reservations more than once. Gracious and accurate service from him and his staff during the eclipse weekend time. Beds comfortable, cooling unit not noisy and worked to our satisfaction. Rooms clean and comfortable. We appreciated the pet accommodation.
I toasted my toast and got my salsa ready. Grabbed the egg. COLD! Solid cold. Like just pulled from the refrigerator cold. I bailed hard with an empty stomach.
Bed and coffee where alright but I could have gotten those two things at the $39 dollar a night hotel, took a bath and got a $25 breakfast. Which I’ll do next time in North Platte. ( shouts out to San Pedro mexican Restaurant)
Woke up for that redemption breakfast. Fingers crossed toast and microwave gravy!!!
I got there and the lot was nice and well lit. The sign said “hot breakfast” (heckin yeah I love a egg sausage and toast sandwich, best hotel breakfast hack ever.)
Days INN isn't in York it's in grand island. We always stay here when we travel. Clean rooms, beds, friendly people & most important to us they are PET FRIENDLY!!! And NO BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!
There was only one 1 star in town so I didn’t have to check the filters to know it was the Super 8 and the photos showed a hot tub the reviews said it was ok and the description had it. It was $5 cheaper but the reviews said the breakfast was skimpy.
Not whelmed. There was no sausage, no hard boiled eggs, they did have waffles but I’m not a waffle man. They had the egg omelette with tons of fake cheese stuffed in it. This is where I shine, I cab make the nastiest fake, school breakfast egg fold into a gourmet meal.
So I asked and she said nope they don’t have one. Damn.
